Children's Ministry
Children & Families at Holy Trinity
Raising children in the Christian faith is a joyful calling—and a serious responsibility. At Holy Trinity, we want to support and encourage parents as they help their children know, trust, and follow the Lord Jesus Christ.
Our children’s ministry is shaped by a simple conviction: children are not just to be entertained, but discipled. We aim to teach children the Bible clearly, faithfully, and in ways they can understand, so they grow in confidence with God’s Word over time.
Bible-centred and Christ-focused
We use The Biggest Story (Crossway) as our core resource, helping children see that the Bible is one unfolding story of God’s salvation, centred on Jesus. Each session is:
-
Grounded in Scripture
-
Age-appropriate and carefully taught
-
Focused on helping children grasp the big picture of the gospel
Our hope is that children won’t just learn Bible stories, but begin to see how God’s promises fit together—and how they are invited to respond in faith and obedience.
Partnering with parents
We believe parents are the primary disciplers of their children. Our children’s ministry exists to support, not replace, what families are doing at home. We aim to provide teaching that reinforces regular Bible reading, prayer, and church life, and gives parents confidence that their children are being taught the gospel clearly and faithfully.

You’re very welcome
Whether you’re part of Holy Trinity or visiting for the first time, your family is very welcome. If you’d like to know more, or have questions about how our children’s ministry works, please speak to one of our leaders or get in touch via the church office.
We love families at Holy Trinity—and we’d love to welcome yours.
Notes: On the 1st and 3rd Sundays in the month, children and youth stay with their families and are provided with activity packs. Our gatherings on these Sundays include an all age talk.
Our ultimate aim is to make sure every child can be themselves in a safe and welcoming environment. Our children's workers are appointed through interview only, are checked at a National, State and local level. They must hold a valid Working with Young People Card, have completed Faithfulness in Service and Safe Church Community programmes and have safeguarding training in accordance with our Diocesan Policy and Legislation. You can view an outline of this policy by viewing our safeguarding page here.

We want the kids to have great fun whilst learning more about Jesus and meeting with Him.
