These nativity scenes come from around the world and across the decades, ranging in size from life-sized scenes to one the size of a thumbnail. They’ve been created from a variety of different materials: wood, metal, stone, porcelain, glass, plastic, paper, wood, felt, and lace (even one from cookie dough!). Some are obviously precious and delicate to the touch. Others are clearly made for little hands to play with. All together they are a wonderful expression of the joy and hope Jesus brought into the world 2000 years ago and we celebrate every year at Christmas!
